tis the season to break up

i thought breakups happened more around the christmas season. but apparently, the heat tends to burn bridges and break ties as well.

i know of at least 4 couples who broke up and 2 who are "taking a break" IN THE LAST MONTH. that's a lot. and these are relationships that have been going on for years. these are people who are pretty much attached at the hip. these are couples who you always thought will always be together. so it makes you wonder how much could've gone wrong for things to end that way.

i hope things work out for them. no matter how things turn out.
