this past weekend, i went down to philly for fisdu's super barrio bros event where they had a buffet of filipino food (gotta find out where they ordered that food) and a presentation of philippine culture in the context of super mario. it was hilarious, despite running so long.
at the end of the night, people were talking about going to the after party, originally set at this bar called solo. we never made it though. we ended up just bringing beer to roland's apartment.
it was chill. it was relaxing. and most of all, i didn't need to dress up. haha.. i miss college house parties. although i must say, this was different from a lot of the house parties i've been at. it's not as crazy. mostly just people catching up with one another. as much as dressing up is fun, and as much as i love to dance, drinking with a select group of people is looking pretty good to me right now.
i think i'm getting to that point where i like it better than partying at clubs. then again, i don't want to get ahead of myself. it might just be a phase. hahaha..
