despite the crazy traffic to chinatown just to pick up siopao, the paranoia of not moving fast enough to get benadryl for my cousin's fatal allergies (i'm glad he's ok now), and not having my immediate family and friends around, this has to be one of the best christmases ever.
i was around a bigger family so christmas eve celebration was a lot noisier this year (which i absolutely LOVE). and i spent christmas day with ellis. it's the first time ever that i spent christmas with someone i love. and it was good.=)
gifts were not as ample as the previous years' christmases but i'm pretty content in the fact that neither of el's ex-girlfriends got any sort of gift from his parents for the holidays while i managed to bag the first two seasons of 'how i met your mother' and a kenneth cole watch with three interchangeable bands from ellis, a sweater from his lola and a coach wristlet from his parents. plus, his mom set aside a whole bag of home-made suman for me to take home. man, i was spoiled this weekend. hahahahahahaha... spiteful? HELLS YEAH.
in the spirit of christmas though, i should probably bite my tongue and wipe the smirk off my face. it's tough. but i promise, come the new year, getting rid of the smirk is somewhere high on my list of resolutions.XD
i'm just so happy with the way that things are turning out. first christmas with el was a milestone. and i'm looking forward to more milestones, especially in the next two months (wow, has it really been almost a year??=D).
i can't wait for the new year!
