US president george bush and iranian president mahmoud ahmadinejad, among other heads of states, will be arriving in NY today, and will be speaking at the GAs tomorrow. so security is insane right now. we've got snipers all over, and hundreds, maybe even thousands of NYPD and FBI people around. first and second avenues have been barricaded off. and no one can pass through unless you have a UN id. it's concentrated at first and second avenues but security stretches out till 50th and 5th ave. and it'll be like this for the next two weeks. :-/
it's a lil exciting. but at the same time, the grid locks are a pain. and i wouldn't be taking a camera out anytime this coming two weeks. i feel like they'll shoot me down if i took a shot. haha.. in fact, just walking down 49th to 46th is already a rush. hopefully nothing comes down while i'm walking to/from work. furthermore, i hope no shit actually comes down. but you know how stupid/desperate some people can be.
just gotta get through the next two weeks in one piece. *keeping my fingers crossed*
