be careful what you wish for

played dress-up on friday night because it's restaurant week in philly.

ellis and i had reservations to brasserie perrier. he seemed a lil disappointed at the end of the night, but i think i had good enough selections. the home-made potato gnocchi was good. the prime rib steak was cooked specifically the way i liked it, and the mashed potato side reminded me of the yummy cubby's mashed potato. but the highlight of my dinner was the best creme brulee i've had in a while. i would say it was a pretty satisfying meal. then again, that's probably because i came in there with no expectations (i had no idea what the place was like). haha..

random:

after dinner, we had thought about possibly having a couple of drinks before heading back home. but we wanted to do something different.

so...

we ended up at a stripclub. haha.. it wasn't one of those seedy places though. this one's as high-end as you can possibly imagine a stripclub can get. and the most amusing thing that night was seeing a pair of titties that belonged to this girl ellis went to high school with. ain't that something. XD

random:

that stripper, with a client in tow, passed us on the way to the VIP lap dance room, and greeted ellis... then asked if i was the wife. hmm.. i wonder when ellis got married. haha..

random:

ellis and i had always talked about having at least one lazy weekend. and that's exactly what we got. other than the very interesting friday that we had, saturday and sunday were pretty lazy. we were homebodies for once. and i must say, it wasn't so bad. he was playing his video game or checking something out on his laptop while i was checking stuff out on mine.

i liked being comfortable about having our separate lil worlds while sitting right next to each other on the couch. yes, we seemed like old married farts. but i'm not complaining.

so is this how it'll be? haha.. XD

OOH strippers and being mistaken for a spouse. Now that's fabulous.

Next time, you should take him to a male strip club. Just to even things out. Hopefully, you don't see anyone you went to high school with though. :p

Missyah gurl!

hahaha, yeah i should do that. but then, i don't really think i'd like to see someone i knew from high school in one of those male strip clubs. i'd be like, "damn, i could've had that but i didn't?"

hahahaha kidding! oh, that was a terrible joke. i miss you j!!!
