..why "thank you"s are almost never enough.
some people offer to help, playing the "that's what family/friends are for" card. when you take them up on their offer, it'll feel like your soul is on hold till they find something they can ask for in return. and they EXPECT you to give exactly what they asked for. no matter how many times and how many ways you've shown gratitude, there's almost no room at all for bargain.
