i'd like to think that we ARE the pieces. and that putting this world back together is simply a coming together of peoples. i don't say that because i'm the lazy ass who doesn't want to go to the ends of the world finding the pieces that fit. in fact, i think it's a lot tougher piecing together a whole world that's burdened by seemingly irreconcilable differences than finding tangible pieces to repair. but i don't believe we need a perfect world. we just need a better one. and if a better world can be achieved simply by coming together and making real connections, i'd say it's time we all said hello to strangers more often.=)
